Junior Consultant (m/f/d) Government Affairs
Location: Berlin
LEGATI PartG s a partner-led law, tax and audit boutique in Germany. We are specialized in formulating and representing our clients’ legal and economic interests towards decision-makers from politics, administration, diplomacy and media. We enable strategic dialogue and create understanding for our clients’ business.
Your tasks:
- Advising clients on changing (political) framework conditions and on effective positioning in relation to politics, society and the media
- Management and further development of consulting mandates (operational to strategic tasks)
- Evaluation of political, social and media developments in Germany
- Creation of reports, presentations and concept papers
- Support in acquiring new projects
- Expansion of your own network of representatives from politics, associations and companies and support for the external positioning of our company
Your background:
- You have at least one year of work experience in politics (parties, associations, Bundestag, state parliaments, ministries, international institutions, etc.), business (companies, consulting, representative offices, etc.), science (think tanks, etc.) or in the media (TV, newspapers etc.).
- You have completed a degree (Bachelor's/Master's) in law, economics, administration, political science or a related degree with at least good grades.
- You are very interested in current political events and social issues.
- You have a sound understanding of political contexts and regulatory decision-making processes.
- Your strengths include a confident demeanor and strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- You are willing to maintain and expand your existing network (politics, business, media, science, etc.).
- You are detail-oriented, work and write textually, carefully and without errors in German and English (C2/C1).
- Knowledge of another foreign language is desirable.
- 3-6 month stay abroad is an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge in the fields of healthcare, energy or digital is a plus.
- You have creativity, conceptual and organizational skills, very good time management and enjoy working in a motivated team.
- You are confident in using the MS Office package and have experience in creating presentations.
- You have the inner drive to help shape the development of a growing company.
- Flexibility, willingness to learn, ability to work in a team and a sense of responsibility round off your skills
